BIBLE QUIZZING

This year we are quizzing on 1 & 2 Corinthians First practice is Sept. 3rd at 5:30. Bible quizzing is open to anyone in grades 3-12 and there are various levels of competition. If interested, contact Ann Foley.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 8:45-NOON

We are having a cleanup day at Liberty Center, 1421 E. State St., Fremont). Please bring work gloves, and hedge trimmers if you have them. Contact Barb Fehl with questions.

CHICKEN BBQ – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, NOON

Join us for our annual Chicken BBQ, please bring a side dish, salad or a dessert to share.

COUPLES SMALL GROUP – Starting SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 from 5-6PM.
We will meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month in the Youth room. Childcare will be available. We will be accepting cash tips for the childcare. See Michael or Katie Estep.

LADIES LUNCH – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

Ladies, meet here at church by 10:30AM to carpool. We will have lunch at Biaggi’s in Levis Commons.

…We closed on our house before leaving the States. Thank you praying over that.

…We have met our monthly fundraising goals! Thank you to those who have given and continue to give.

For Prayer

…Language school begins Sept. 1. We will be doing the “work” of getting rest and getting acclimated. The time zone we’re in is currently 6 hours ahead of EST.
…When school starts, may we be able to lean in. The kids will be attending school nearby.

…Though the views are breathtaking, the changes are likewise. It is overwhelming. May we take this journey step by step, moment by moment, trusting in the God who has called, who has cleared the path, who is with us in the newness, and who is preparing for our road ahead. And may we remember to breathe and give grace to each other.
